Adam's Peak is a 2,243 meter tall conical mountain located in central Sri Lanka. It is well known for the Sri Pada, i.e., "sacred foot", a 1.8 meter rock formation near the summit. Buddhists accept that it is the foot print of Lord Buddha who has placed it during his 3rd visit to Sri Lanka. Hindus believe it is the print of God Shiva, and Muslims and Christians believe it to be the mark of Adam when he was expelled from Garden of Eden. The mountain is located in the southern reaches of the Central Highlands, in the Ratnapura District and Nuwaraeliya district of the Sabaragamuwa Province and Central Province.

Apart from various explanations and beliefs, the truly miraculous feature about Adam's peak is that all four religions harmoniously ascend this breathtaking summit, achieving a greater miracle than the rest.
