Airport – Negombo
Day 1
At the airport you will be greeted by you chauffeur guide who will take your residence for the next six nights.
After completing formalities at the airport, head straight to Negombo which is as close as minutes from the airport. Check-in to the hotel and rest & relax to recover from any jet lag.
Spend the day at leisure relaxing at the hotel or do some sightseeing in Negombo. You may visit a fish market and the Dutch canal.

Negombo – Sinharaja
Day 2

Relax and soak up some sun on Negombo’s prestige beaches.
Transfer to Sinharaja. Relish the journey as you drive just by the natural turquoise waves, pass villages as local go about their day lives and more.
Relax & spend the night in Sinharaja with its wildness.

Sinharaja
Day 3
Breakfast in the hotel
We will begin the day by entering the Sinharaja rainforest.
As the daylight touches the land, you will come to realize that you are in the midst of Sinharaja, Sri Lanka’s last viable area of primary tropical rainforest. More than sixty percent of the trees are endemic and many of them are considered rare. There is much endemic wildlife, especially birds, but the reserve is also home to over fifty percent of Sri Lanka's endemic species of mammals and butterflies, as well as many kinds of insects, reptiles and rare amphibians.
Enjoy both a morning and evening private bird watching trek lead by a naturalist guide.

Sinharaja – Galle – Mirissa
Day 4
Breakfast in the hotel
Today you will be returning the coast of Sri Lanka. We suggest you break the journey to explore the Dutch Fort. The ancient port city of Galle is Sri Lanka's oldest living city and retains a unique old-world atmosphere.
Then we continue south to the bay of Mirissa. During the drive witness a curious feature - the stilt fishermen of Weligama who carefully balance themselves before casting their fishing lines.
Spend the rest of the day.
Spend an idyllic afternoon watching the crested waves as they bounce off the sun-kissed sands. It is simply amazing to be in a place where time stands still and your nights are endless.

Mirissa – Tissamaharama
Day 5
Breakfast in the hotel
Spend another day in Mirissa with the majestic blue and sperm whales as they pass the South coast of Sri Lanka on their voyage to the Bay of Bengal from the Arabian Ocean. You will find that fellow travelers also come to Sri Lanka to experience dolphins and whales because the strike rate of the sightings is relatively high. This means that you are likely to see not just one whale, but many group during the season.
In the evening after the safari, you will head to Tissamaharama where you will check-in to the hotel rest and spend the night.

Tissamaharama – Yala - Tissamaharama
Day 6
Breakfast at the hotel.
We will set off early morning on your expedition, as you will be heading east to the jungles of Yala. You will soon learn that the Yala National Park is famous for the elusive leopard and has one of the highest densities of leopards in the world. The Sloth bear and Asian elephants, also part of Sri Lankan’s Big Five can be spotted in the park. Having said that, Yala has much more to share – wild bears, peacocks, wild buffalo, Sambar and spotted deer. In addition, up to 130 species of birds have been recorded at Yala, many migratory including the white winged black tern, curlews and pintails. Indigenous species include jungle fowl, hornbills and orioles.
With luck you will witness all these creatures over a full day jeep safari with a naturalist guide.
In the evening after the safari, you will head back again to Tissamaharama where you will rest and spend the night at the same hotel.

Tissamaharama – Udawalawe
Day 7
Breakfast in the hotel & transfer to Udawalawe National Park.
Venture to the depths of the island to Udawalawe National Park. Udawalawe National Park covers an area of 30,821 hectares, and includes a large reservoir, the Udawalawe Tank, which is fed by the Walawe Ganga. The park is home to an estimated 500 elephants, best spotted by the river or streams and reservoirs. Other wildlife includes wild buffalo, Sambar deer, mongooses, bandicoots, foxes, water monitors, crocodiles and even the occasional Sloth bear and leopard.
In the evening after the safari, you will you will check-in to the hotel, rest and spend the night.

Udawalawe – Hikkaduwa / Unawatuna
Day 8
Breakfast in the hotel
We will head straight to Hikkaduwa or Unawatuna at your own pace. Then blissfully spend your time as you wish. Whether it be indulging in fine spa & wellness programs, surfing, sunbathing, diving, mesmerized by the Indian Ocean.

Hikkaduwa / Unawatuna – Colombo
Day 9
Breakfast in the hotel.
We will then transfer to Colombo. It is time to explore the city of Colombo. Visit some interesting features such as the old city of Fort, the main markets of Pettah, the Hindu Temple at Sea Street, the Dutch Church at Wolfendal, the historic Davatagaha Mosque, the Colombo Museum amongst others. Another option is to indulge in some shopping whether it is value for money clothes or impressive antiques. Spend the night in Colombo.

Colombo – Airport
Day 10
Breakfast in the hotel.
Do a city tour and spend the rest of the day enjoying some sightseeing in Colombo along with some shopping before catching the flight to onward destinations.
Alternatively, you could always soak up some sun on Colombo’s prestige beaches which is close as an hour away from the airport.
As all good things must come to an end, your chauffeur guide with comfortable take you back to the international airport for a safe journey home.
